The scenes in Lisbon city below is one of the candidates of the model railroading layout I want to build in the future. I bought several 1/87 scale tram cars sold in the Carris Museum and will modify those cars with the DCC equipped track.

There is a gantlet (単複線). Another example is shown in the next picture.

This rail layout called gantlet (単複線) is very unique. Another examples are in Amsterdam and Prague.
