Amtrak California San Joaquin

SAN JOAQUIN runs between the San Francisco Bay Area and Bakersfield, CA.







 

SAN JOAQUIN is normally 5 or 6 cars, all coach cars including one dining car and optionally a baggage car.
 


SAN JOAQUIN has two routes, i.e. San Francisco - Bakersfield and Sacramento - Bakersfield.
The following map shows the first route.



Seven operations a day as of January 2014.



Southbound train runs in push pull mode. This is the cab car.



Baggage space on the 1st floor is full.


2nd floor is for general passengers. 1st floor is only for seniors or wheel chair access people.
